The fashion world just got a little greener and a whole lot more stylish. The Dior Bamboo Pavilion has officially opened in Daikanyama, Tokyo, offering travelers a fresh way to experience luxury and design all in one place.

What Makes It Special

This isn’t your average boutique. The Pavilion sprawls across an impressive 1,800 sqm, blending Dior’s signature ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, and fine jewellery under one dazzling roof. The structure itself is a sight to behold, wrapped in a golden bamboo-inspired façade that recalls Dior’s Paris flagship but fitted perfectly into Tokyo’s chic Daikanyama streetscape.

A Garden Oasis in the City

Step outside and you’ll find a serene Zen garden created by acclaimed Japanese landscape designer Seijun Nishihata — the perfect backdrop for your Tokyo wanderings.

Inside, delicate washi paper-clad walls and lanterns from Kyoto’s Kojima Shoten showcase fashion and accessories in spaces that feel more art installation than store. You’ll spot men’s and women’s collections by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, including exclusive pieces like the Dior Book Tote.

Café Dior Perfection

Fashion can be hungry work. Café Dior awaits with floral installations by Makoto Azuma and a seasonal menu by Michelin-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic — blending French flair with local touches that taste as delightful as they look.

For now, entry operates on a first-come, first-served basis, but reservations will be required from March onward.

Whether you’re a style devotee or just love discovering Tokyo’s latest cultural gems, this Pavilion gives you a slice of luxury, nature, and design all in one unforgettable stop.
